Project Life: Week 6

Baby #3 due October 11th!

We've been watching a lot of Netflix while mommy doesn't feel well.

This week (February 5-11) started out with a sweet surprise - we found out we are expecting baby #3!   We are so excited, but this momma has been exhausted.  I've been hit with a major wave of nausea, fatigue, and dizziness.  Ted really wanted to bring cookies to work to announce our news, but, since I wasn't up to making homemade ones, he had to settle for a Betty Crocker mix and help from the kids.  At least he had the cutest little helpers!   On Saturday, instead of visiting my parents, since my dad was sick with a nasty case of shingles, we drove to my grandparents house to pick up a big girl bed for Valerie and stopped at a nearby bulk foods store for a gluten free event.  It was a fun little day trip and the kids love their new beds.

This week (January 29 - February 4), was pretty quiet around here.  The kids keep me entertained with the new things they learn every day.  Almanzo is turning into just as entertaining a singer as his sister, but he tends to remember the words to songs we have sung, like Away in a Manger and Jesus Loves Me.  It melts my heart how much these two love to learn about Jesus.  Valerie can't wait to go to church so she can learn about Him in Children's Church and at Cubbies.  On a quiet, stay at home day, the house is often a disaster of toys and sometimes lunch consists of watching Blues Clues while eating some easy meals like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or macaroni and cheese.  On Friday night, I joined my sisters and mom for a girls' night sleepover at my mom's house.  I spent the evening scrapbooking - until midnight!  It was so much fun!  The next morning, we got ready to spend the day at my Uncle Mark's house for a winter Klein family day.  Ted met us there with the kids and we enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather and beautiful sunshine for our day.

February TWO

(Yes, a day late, but the photos were, in fact, taken on February TWO.)
