One month ago, we became a family of five. It's hard to imagine our life without our sweet Oliver. He is growing so quickly and already weighs 2 lbs more than his birth weight. (He was 9 lbs, 5.6 oz as of his well check on November 16!) Needless to say, he enjoys momma's milk! He is now wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. It was bittersweet to pack away the newborn clothes; it really does go so fast! He is starting to smile and coo and we are simply amazed at every new little sound he makes. His constant movement and strength reminds us of Almanzo, but he has a serious and calm disposition that is very much like Valerie. He makes faces often that are mirror images of his daddy and yet his bright blue eyes are just like mommy. He is a beautiful mix of all of us and the perfect addition to our growing family.
